Projects

Here you’ll find a few examples of my work in Articulate Storyline 360; simple demonstrations that show my approach to creating engaging, interactive, and accessible learning experiences. Each project focuses on clear design, meaningful interaction, and making learning enjoyable and inclusive for everyone.

How to Bake a Victoria Sponge Cake

This short ten-slide module, created in Articulate Storyline 360, takes learners through the simple process of baking a cake using clear visuals, text, and voiceover. It includes interactive elements such as a temperature dial, a memory game to select ingredients, flipcards, video and subtle animations. A circular progress indicator fills as each stage is completed, giving learners a sense of achievement and flow. The project demonstrates how engaging, accessible microlearning can transform even everyday topics into enjoyable learning experiences.

Interactive Template Design

This project is a clean, flexible eLearning template built in Articulate Storyline 360, designed to show how interactivity and accessibility can work hand in hand. It includes a range of interactive slides such as selectable tiles, hotspots, carousels, embedded video, and knowledge checks, along with an accessible sorting activity. The design focuses on ease of use, clear navigation, and engaging interaction, making it a versatile starting point for creating inclusive digital learning.

Guidelines for Nutrition

This example is taken from a larger course on nutrition and demonstrates the more advanced features of Articulate Storyline 360. It includes layered interactions, hotspots, and built-in calculators for Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). Despite the complex functionality, the design remains intuitive and fully accessible, showing how detailed, data-driven learning can still be simple and engaging for users.

The Inclusive Manager

This short introductory module was designed as an entry point for a course on neurodiversity and inclusive management. It uses clean visuals, a calm colour palette, and simple navigation to create an inviting first impression. The design focuses on clarity and accessibility, with links to supporting resources and further information about the course. It’s a straightforward example that shows how simplicity and good visual balance can make a learning experience both welcoming and effective. (Note: No audio).

Resource Group - Example Slides

I’ve created this project to showcase example slides from three eLearning modules developed for Resource Group: Security Clearance Training, Dangerous Goods Awareness, and Fuel Tank Safety. These examples demonstrate a range of design approaches, including animations, scenario-based interactions, and knowledge checks, all built using multiple variables and triggers. The course is fully accessible, allowing complete keyboard navigation, and includes a lightbox slide for navigational guidance. This project offers just a small glimpse into the work I’ve produced over the past three years with Resource Group.

Example Template - Dark/Light Theme

This project is an example eLearning template created in Articulate Storyline 360. It demonstrates a range of slide types including simple text and image layouts, interactive slides, and knowledge checks. Learners can switch between light and dark themes using a toggle button, allowing for a more personalised and accessible learning experience.

Interactive Template - Safari

This compact Storyline template demonstrates my ability to design a wide variety of interesting and engaging interactions. It features simple text-and-image layouts, tabbed content, sliders, a crossword puzzle, accessible drag-and-drops, and type-in-the-answer activities. The clean, flexible design makes it easy to adapt for different subjects or branding while showcasing strong interaction design and accessibility awareness.

Letter Link Challenge - Game

Letter Link Challenge is an interactive quiz game inspired by the classic TV game show Blockbusters. Learners answer simple, letter-based questions to claim tiles and build a winning path across the board.

Built in Articulate Storyline, the activity uses a wide range of variables, triggers, layers and states, demonstrating both technical proficiency and effective learning design. The game balances challenge and accessibility, showing how interactivity can be used to support engagement rather than distract from learning.

Letter Link Challenge can be used in a classroom setting, as a paired activity on a tablet, or as a fun knowledge check within a wider learning programme.
