YouTube Channel Launched!

Today I launched my own YouTube Channel! There are a lot of videos out there on using Articulate Storyline 360, but a lot are very just the fundamentals of Storyline, or they are not focusing on accessibility. I wanted to change that. My plan is to upload a new video every week, going through how to do a particular thing in Storyline, and how to make it accessible. Sometimes it might just be bringing a boring, static multiple choice question to life, or how to actually edit your content for keyboard focus for example.
The first video is quite a long one, but something really important. Drag and Drops. Most Instructional Designers will use drag and drops for their content, creating meaningful learning that actually sticks (remember the sticky notes from the last blog post!). But sadly, they are not accessible with a keyboard (try it - use 'tab' to move to your drag - it wont work!). There is a work around though, using animation. In the video I go through how to create a standard drag and drop interaction, but then add that extra layer - full keyboard access. The video goes through every single step, to help you follow through the video, and avoid mistakes. But all the chapters are in the description, so you can skip forward if you want, if you're happy you've got it correct.
So go to the channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@BecBakerInstructionalDesign and start your learning journey with me!
